ESPN 150 Watch List wide receiver Ahmad Fulwood (Jacksonville, Fla./Bishop Kenny) is ready to take his first trip to Alabama.
The 6-3, 200-pound junior was offered by Alabama earlier this year and has mentioned the Crimson Tide as a potential suitor.
"This is going to be my first trip there and I'm very hopeful that the program lives up to the expectations I have for it," Fulwood said. "Alabama is a championship program. "
Fulwood said the Tide's coaching staff has been in regular contact with him.
"They talk to me pretty often and they are recruiting me to be the next Julio Jones," Fulwood said. "That's a pretty nice compliment."
Fulwood, who said to GatorNation that he will most likely be attending college outside of Florida, has offers from Ohio State, Clemson, Georgia, Auburn, Arkansas, Notre Dame, Oklahoma State and several others.
