He just doesn’t necessarily understand what the fuss is about.
“They are pretty different, but to me it’s just a uniform,” Eniocy said. “Just something to wear so I can play football. I don’t feel faster or anything like that. It’s good for publicity I suppose.”
Enoicy might not be impressed by the publicity because the 6-foot-4, 200-pound junior has been dealing with attention for a while. He already holds offers from Florida State, Florida, Miami, Florida International, South Carolina, Southern Cal and Louisiana-Lafayette.
“There are several more programs reaching out with interest and have requested film,” Enoicy said. “I think more offers will come down later in the year.”
Enoicy hasn’t had the opportunity to attend any games this fall, but the one he is planning to attend will be outside of the state.
“I'm planning on heading to the Stanford-Cal game,” Enoicy said. “It's going to be a nice experience to go to the West Coast. I’ve never been out west before, so it’s exciting.
“Both Stanford and Cal have good programs with top-notch academics, so I want to see both campuses if I can.”
Enoicy said that academics and playing time will be the deciding factors in his decision.
