Coprich lands first Pac-12 offer

One of the most improved players out West this year is two-way standout Jeffrey Coprich (Stevenson Ranch, Calif./West Ranch). The athlete picked up offer No. 5 earlier this week and first from a BCS conference.

Coprich plays both running back and cornerback and is being recruited as an athlete by most of the schools looking at him. In five games, he has rushed for 534 yards and six touchdowns while averaging over eight yards a carry. He also has a kickoff return for a touchdown and took a fumble to the house.

“All my hard work in the summer is paying off,” Coprich said. “I have offers from Army, Cal Poly, Illinois State and Montana and Colorado just offered this week. That’s Pac 12 baby, so I’m really excited about that one.

“I’m also hearing a lot from Washington, Nebraska, Utah and Oregon State and hopefully one of those schools will offer as well. Right now, I’m really feeling Colorado and I’m going to take an official visit out there (Nov. 11) when they play Arizona State. I’m tempted to just jump on that offer, but I really want to see the place first before I commit anywhere.”
