Allen still committed, will take visits

Dejon Allen (Compton, Calif./Dominguez) committed to Arizona State back in May. The two-way lineman said he’s still a Sun Devil but will take his official visits later this month.

Allen is one of the most versatile lineman in the region and could play on either side of the ball in college. He was recruited to play offensive guard for the Sun Devils and is easily among the most physical and nasty players in the state.

“I’m still committed to ASU, but I have a lot of other schools that are still recruiting me,” Allen said. “I want to take my visits, but I haven’t set up anything with anyone yet. Washington State is coming on real strong, and I’m probably going to visit there. They have a new staff, and I like what they’re saying.

“I’m also hearing from Washington, UCLA, Oregon and Arizona, but like I said, I’m still a Sun Devil. I talked with the new staff, and they’re supposed to come by the school on Thursday. I think Washington is coming by on Friday. By next week, I should have a good idea on all my visits.”
