Standout wide receiver Chris Harper (Encino, Calif./Crespi) is hearing from a new school and currently has three colleges at the top of his list right now.
Harper is off to a solid start to this season for the 5-1 Celts. Through six games, the receiver has 23 catches for 650 yards and 10 touchdowns. He caught two more touchdowns Thursday night with Washington receiver coach Jimmie Dougherty watching from the sideline.
“Things are still the same, no new offers,” Harper said. “I’ve started to hear a lot from Nebraska though and they just requested my film. I’m talking with Bo Pelini and I definitely have interest in them. I sent my film off yesterday and that would be a great visit to take.
“My top three are Cal, Colorado and Nebraska. Cal is up there because I just like the school a lot and had a great time on an unofficial visit in the summer. Colorado is showing me a lot of love right now and I can tell they really want me. That’s one visit I know I’ll be taking. Nebraska has great tradition and a great program every year.”
