Goff's numbers pique Rosen's interest

Perhaps no high school team in California entered the 2013 season with as much hype or fanfare as Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco.

All four members of the secondary -- cornerbacks Naijiel Hale and Chandler Hawkins, safeties Jaleel Wadood and Shay Fields Jr. -- made their verbal commitments before playing a game as seniors. Defensive end Malik Dorton is an ESPN 300 prospect with offers from up and down the Pac-12 and recently announced his commitment to USC. ESPN 300 offensive guard Damien Mama is the No. 56 prospect in the country and No. 5 player in the state. Outside linebacker Chandler Leniu and defensive end Jacob Tuioti-Mariner hold multiple BCS offers. And that’s just the 2014 class.

The headliner for the Braves resides in the 2015 class, as quarterback Josh Rosen enters his junior season as the No. 1 quarterback in the country and No. 1 prospect in the West region.
