Damien Harris, the No. 1 ranked running back on the ESPN 300 Class of 2015, has released his top five schools. Harris tweeted out his list Friday and is moving closer to his decision.

Michigan is noticeably absent from the top list that includes Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Ohio State and Texas A&M.
Michigan seems to have already honed in on another back with fellow ESPN 300 running back Mike Weber, who has a top five of Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Wisconsin and USC. Weber and Michigan have been moving closer and closer, and it seems as though the Wolverines are in good shape with the Detroit prospect.
Despite growing up a Michigan fan and previously being committed to the Wolverines, it looks as though Ohio State is trending positively for Harris. He and several Ohio State commitments, including Jashon Cornell and Justin Hilliard, have developed a good friendship and that could impact his decision.
Alabama is in good shape with Harris and ESPN 300 running back Jacques Patrick as well. The Tide already have DeSherrius Flowers on board and a stable of running backs on the roster, so adding either Harris or Patrick to the list could boost their success in the future run game.
Kentucky fans are hoping the Wildcats can keep Harris in-state to help on the field and potentially help recruit other prospects. It might be tough to keep him home, but Kentucky also has a shot with Darrin Hall if Harris decides to go elsewhere.
Texas A&M is relatively new to the list as the Aggies only offered Harris on Friday, so the coaches might have a little ground to make up compared to the other teams.
As it stands, the race for Harris seems to be between the Buckeyes and the home state Wildcats.
Harris is set to announce on Dec. 13, but he has flirted with the idea of making a decision sooner than anticipated.
Depending on when he actually decides, there still might be time for the other teams on his list to make a move.
