McShay Mock Draft 1.0: Baltimore Ravens

The defending Super Bowl champions are known for resourceful drafting under the trained eye of longtime general manager Ozzie Newsome and assistant GM Eric DeCosta. Though the team went through some dramatic personnel turnover during the offseason, they've put themselves back in position to challenge for a playoff spot. And draft picks from 2013 have played a role.

But the 2014 draft will be big as well for the Ravens, particularly given their need for weapons.

Todd McShay released his first 2014 mock draft Wednesday, and in doing so identified the biggest areas of need for the Ravens as tight end, wide receiver and offensive tackle. Needless to say, it's all about helping out Joe Flacco. Here's McShay's pick and analysis for Baltimore in Round 1.
