McShay Mock Draft 1.0: Buccaneers

The season went off the rails early, but the Bucs have righted the pirate ship in the second half. While their playoff hopes went unrealized, they’ll be able to claim some reinforcements with another high draft pick. And given Mike Glennon's encouraging performance replacing the ousted Josh Freeman, Tampa likely won’t be compelled to spend that pick -- currently No. 7 overall -- on a QB.

But where will the Bucs invest that pick if not in the signal-caller of the future?

Todd McShay released his first 2014 mock draft Wednesday, and in doing so identified the biggest areas of need for the Buccaneers. The most urgent: defensive end, offensive tackle, offensive guard, tight end, and yes, QB. Here’s who McShay believes will provide the best fit for Tampa with the No. 7 pick.
