Back in 2011, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed tight end Marcedes Lewis to a five-year, $34 million contract. The deal didn't seem out of line at the time, because he was coming off of a 58-catch, 700-yard, 10-TD campaign. However, those all remain career-high numbers and he has pulled in a total of just 10 scores since.
Now, he is about to turn 31 as he enters the final year of that deal and has become expendable thanks to the offseason addition of Julius Thomas.
