Fresno State QB Derek Carr nearly led his team to an undefeated season and a BCS bowl. Alas, the Bulldogs fell just short, finishing 11-1 and ranked No. 20 in the final BCS standings. His numbers, however, were phenomenal: Carr finished with an FBS-best 4,866 yards and his 48 TDs were 10 more than second-highest Jameis Winston's 38. By all measurable accounts, he's had a banner year. However improbable as it would have seemed even two months ago, he could even be entering the discussion for No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
