Increased role for Pitta?

When Dennis Pitta agreed to a new five-year deal with Baltimore back in late February, Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome touched on the ways the 6-foot-4 tight end helps the offense.

"Dennis creates a number of mismatch problems for defenses," general manager Ozzie Newsome said at the time. "He makes it tough on them, and because of that, he really helps out our wide receivers. Opponents have to always pay attention to where he lines up and where his routes take him. Dennis is also a big target with very good hands, and his presence in the red zone is very important to us."

Coming off an injury-shortened 2013, Pitta's health will be a big key in 2014, and new offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak will look to use him in a more versatile role. That could be something for fantasy owners to pay close attention to.
