Chiefs' thoughts at No. 1

It's not a fortuitous offseason to have the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft, as the 2012 edition featured the can't lose options of Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III, while next year's class will -- potentially -- include South Carolina pass-rusher JaDaveon Clowney. This year's group doesn't appear to have the high-end talent at key big-money positions -- QB, OT, pass-rusher, etc. -- but all the pre-draft analysis does come with a caveat: some prospects really only shine once they've joined an NFL team (to wit: Russell Wilson, third-round pick).
