For those who haven't been paying close attention to the other Insider NHL content this week, it's been a big one: we ran through a mock expansion draft experiment where two of our writers made decisions on which players would be protected for all 30 teams, then drafted the rosters for two new franchises from those left unprotected. Thursday, we published the new rosters of the Seattle Metropolitans and Quebec City Nordiques, which can be found here, along with analysis and explanations from GMs Custance and Provenzano. We also had Hockey Prospectus run the new teams through their VUKOTA system to project how well the two clubs would do... and it would not be pretty for them in their inaugural campaigns. In addition, we also had the latest entry in the Summer Skate series from HP, this one on Vancouver. Onward, now, to the links of the NHL for Friday the 13th.
