Dubinsky out against Red Wings?

After Brandon Dubinsky missed the Columbus Blue Jackets Monday loss at the Anaheim Ducks, he told the Columbus Dispatch's Aaron Portzline that the injury wasn't serious, and that he didn't expect to miss much time.

"I don’t think it’s going to be too long,” Dubinsky told the paper.

Two days later, the former New York Rangers center -- Dubinsky was acquired in the blockbuster trade that sent Rick Nash to Broadway last summer -- still wasn't back on the ice, and he appears doubtful to play against the Detroit Red Wings in Motown on Thursday night.

"Dubinsky not skating today," Dispatch reporter Shawn Mitchell wrote on Twitter Wednesday morning.
