Bruins to add Soderberg?

TSN's Darren Dreger is reporting that Swedish forward Carl Soderberg, the top scorer in Sweden's Elite League this season, wants to join the Boston Bruins following the SEL playoffs.

Soderberg, a 6'3," 225-pound center who can also play on the wing, was drafted 49th overall by the St. Louis Blues in 2004 but has never played an NHL game. Boston acquired his rights in a 2007 trade for Hannu Toivonen, and Soderberg wouldn't have to clear waivers before joining the Bruins.

The 27-year-old had 60 points (31 goals, 29 assists) in 54 regular-season games for Linkoping HC. The SEL playoffs are scheduled to begin next week.
