Rumors of Martin Brodeur being moved ahead of the trade deadline have been percolating since early in the 2013-14 season. Cory Schneider has established himself as the clear No. 1 option, and as sacrilegious as it may seem to some, we could very well see Brodeur sporting another jersey before this season is out. In fact, there was some buzz that a deal (or at least the framework for a deal) is already in place.
Andy Clayton of the New York Daily News reports that the Devils will give Brodeur one last start (against Detroit on Tuesday night), and then he'll be traded to Minnesota.
