Pac-12 Signing Day wrap (2:18)

Recruiting reporter Erik McKinney picks a Pac-12 signing day winner and explains how USC closed well, even outside its traditional footprint. (2:18)

A team-by-team look at the 2016 recruiting classes in the Pac-12:

GradeUSC Trojans

National rank: 11

The Trojans' class came together solidly under new coach Clay Helton. USC made a national statement with the flip of ESPN 300 safety Jamel Cook on signing day from Florida State and was also able to land ESPN 300 OT E.J. Price and highly rated corner Jackie Jones. Offensive talents in the fold are ESPN 300 quarterback Matt Fink, receivers Tyler Vaughns and Josh Imatorbhebhe, tight end Cary Angeline and tackle Frank Martin II. Two more four-star wideouts, Michael Pittman and Velus Jones, give the Trojans more offensive firepower. ESPN 300 athlete Trevon Sidney is one of the more versatile prospects in the country, and Keyshawn Young could develop into a nice weapon. Defensively, ESPN 300 end Oluwole Betiku could be a star.
