Tanks for the memories: Jim Bowden's rebuilding experiences

After spending a quarter century in baseball front offices, with 15 of those years in the role of general manager, I experienced my share of rebuilding with the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cincinnati Reds and Washington Nationals. All three were approached in different manners, but tanking was done only with the latter. Here is a breakdown of each experience.
