#MLBFrontOffice: Nine problems with current draft process, with possible solutions

With the Major League Baseball draft less than a month away, it's time to look at the present system and find ways that it can be improved, especially because negotiations for the next collective bargaining agreement have already begun.

I reached out to top executives for all 30 teams to get their input on how they would improve the current system, and as you would expect, there were some major differences between the game's smallest and largest markets on certain topics. But what was interesting to me was that there was a clear consensus on several key issues regarding the players and clubs.

Based on the input from major league executives and my personal opinions, here's a list of changes that would make the draft system better.
