Earlier this week, after Rakuten announced that Masahiro Tanaka would be posted, I broke down the likeliest destinations for the star right-hander.

Today, I thought it would be a good idea to break down the likeliest landing spots for the rest of the top free agents available, as well identifying the best fit for each. (Note: ages listed are as of Opening Day 2014).

1. Matt Garza, age 30, RHP

Garza has a major advantage over Ubaldo Jimenez and Ervin Santana since he isn't tied to draft-pick compensation.
