ICYMI: after favorites won and covered the first six NFL playoff games, the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers pulled outright upsets on Sunday. Overall, favorites are 6-2 SU and ATS while overs lead unders 5-3. Furthermore, first-half faves and overs are both 5-3 while second-half faves are 6-1-1 ATS (the push was Dallas -5 as the Cowboys won the second half 18-13 while Kansas City was a 2-point second-half fave and prevailed 9-6) and second-half unders lead 5-3.

Dave Tuley ESPN Staff Writer

Early bets took New England from -4.5 vs. Pittsburgh to -5.5 at the Westgate SuperBook. Just like the Green Bay-Atlanta game, offshore books opened higher and early money came in on the favorite. Some offshore books are up to New England -6, but majority of Vegas books posting early line as of 8:30 p.m. PT are at -5.5 with Stations at -5 and Caesars and Stratosphere at -6. Over/under has dipped from 51.5 to 51.

ViewFromVegas of AFC title game: Westgate opens New England as 4.5-pt home fave over Pittsburgh; over/under 51.5.

Steelers hold off Chiefs 18-16 to advance to AFC Championship Game. The ViewFromVegas is they did it as 2-point road underdogs and +110 on the money line. The game stayed under the betting total of 45.5 points. Underdogs won both games today as favorites fall to 6-2 SU and ATS. Over/unders split 1-1 and overs lead 5-3 overall. Kansas City did win the second half 9-6 as a 2-point second-half favorite and it stayed under the second-half total of 24.

Dave Tuley ESPN Staff Writer

More ViewFromVegas of Steelers-Chiefs: Pittsburgh leads 12-7 at halftime and Kansas City is a 2-point second-half favorite (bet includes 3rd and 4th quarters and any overtimes) while the second-half over/under was bet up to 24 points. The adjusted game lines (based on halftime score and second-half lines) are Pittsburgh -3 (after closing with Kansas City as a 2-point favorite) and over/under 43 (after closing 45.5).

Dave Tuley ESPN Staff Writer

Steelers lead Chiefs 12-7 at halftime. The ViewFromVegas is Pittsburgh was a 0.5-point first-half underdog and it stayed under the first-half total of 22.5 points. (Note: Chiefs won the first quarter 7-6 at pick 'em as it went over the first-quarter total of 7.5 points.)

Dave Tuley ESPN Staff Writer

After half an hour of wagering, Atlanta is back down to a 4-point home favorite (the Westgate opener) over Green Bay after being bet as high as -5.5 here in Vegas (the line was Atlanta -6 at offshore giant CRIS before being bet down). The over/under looks like it's settling at 60.5 points after these teams combined for 65 points in their regular-season meeting in the Georgia Dome (Falcons won 33-32).
