Seattle still in top 5 in latest Vegas Power Rankings

LAS VEGAS -- One of the big debates the last few days has been which of the NFL's undefeated teams (New England, Green Bay, Denver, Cincinnati, Atlanta and Carolina) are legitimate contenders and which are flukes. If you haven't read ESPN Insider Mike Sando's take on the subject, you can do so right here.

Well, ESPN Chalk's panel of NFL handicappers -- Erin Rynning, Sal Selvaggio of madduxsports.com and yours truly, Dave Tuley -- has the Patriots as a clear No. 1 in our NFL Vegas Rankings that use our combined power ratings to compare the relative strength of the 32 NFL teams.

The Patriots are rated 1.5 points better than the Packers, which is what we believe they should be favored by if meeting on a neutral field (such as the Super Bowl). Note: This is in contrast to the generic Super Bowl line at the Westgate SuperBook, which has the NFC -1 over the AFC and usually is based on what it sees as the most likely matchup).
