CFB's most underrated players

This is the time of the year when the college football world celebrates its greatest players by honoring them with a litany of individual awards and all-conference nominations.

But what about those players who had tremendous 2013 seasons and yet found themselves on the outside of those award ceremonies and nominations?

Here's a look at five players who fit this description and thus could make up the core of a 2013 all-underrated team.

Zach Mettenberger, QB, LSU Tigers

There is little doubt the SEC has the best collection of quarterbacks of any college football conference, and Mettenberger more than held his own in this incredibly competitive environment.
