How Weis' offense translates to UF

The Florida Gators' toughest test so far this season came in Week 3 against the Tennessee Volunteers, so in preparation for the Alabama Crimson Tide's visit to The Swamp this week, I broke down the coach-copy tape of the Gators' offense from their 33-23 win over the Vols.

I charted 62 of the plays offensive coordinator Charlie Weis called -- 37 runs, 25 designed passes -- over the course of 13 drives in that game. While it's clear that Weis is making good use of his personnel, the Gators' lack of a downfield passing game and poor red zone production could cause problems for the team against Alabama on Saturday.
