With the release of the initial BCS standings Sunday, the national title picture is starting to come into focus. And even before Sunday, Week 8 significantly narrowed the field of top contenders as a handful of ranked teams were defeated.

The result? A new college football landscape led by a few elite teams, a variety of rising contenders and the rest of the field. And while the BCS standings offer a guide on how teams stack up, which clubs are ranked too high or too low?

In this week's "No Huddle," Insider's panel of experts debates that as well as other key questions heading into Week 9, including which player is the nation's top defender, which coach has done the best job this season and which favorite should be on upset alert this weekend.

1. Which team is the most overrated in the BCS standings?

KC Joyner: Texas Tech (No. 10). Only one of the teams they have beaten has a winning record (Texas State, a 4-3 Sun Belt conference team). A recent game tape and metric review I did also led me to the conclusion that the Red Raiders have a ton of issues ranging from mediocre run blocking to an inconsistent receiving corps and a freshman QB who takes too many risks. These weaknesses are going to end the Red Raiders' unbeaten streak during a very tough stretch that includes games against three teams currently in the top 20 (Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Baylor).
