Georgia QB Fields says he's transferring to OSU

Justin Fields, the No. 1 overall player in the 2018 ESPN 300, confirmed Friday night that he is moving on from Georgia and transferring to Ohio State.

Adam Rittenberg ESPN Staff Writer

ESPN Source: Oklahoma is hiring Ohio State's Alex Grinch as its new defensive coordinator. The Athletic first reported the hire, which could be the most significant coordinator move of the cycle, given OU's struggles on defense. Grinch spent this past season as the Buckeyes' co-defensive coordinator, but Greg Schiano had the lead role. He now reclaims oversight of a defense after serving as Washington State's defensive coordinator, where he was a Broyles Award semifinalist in 2017.
