Tua Tagovailoa was night and day better this week in practice in the way he moved around on his strained right knee, according to several in the Alabama program, and that's the way it's played out so far in what's already a commanding Alabama 28-0 lead over Tennessee. The biggest difference for Tagovailoa since straining his knee two weeks ago against Arkansas has been his confidence and not being hesitant with the knee after the initial scare. Alabama has now scored on 43 of 57 Tagovailoa-led drives this season.

Could be that Alabama is fired up because former Tide defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt is the Tennessee head coach. Could be that Tennessee got Alabama's attention with an upset win last week at Auburn. Or it could be that Alabama will always be ready to play Tennessee. Whatever it is, Alabama came out of the locker room on fire. Four possessions, four TDs in the first 11:29 of the game.

Alabama is favored by 29 at Tennessee. The head Westgate oddsmaker said he would move the point spread to 27, if Tua Tagovailoa does not play. He indicated the QB already does not typically play the entire game. However, the first half line would move from -21 to -17.
