Bowl season is upon us. Here's what you need to know about every game, through the College Football Playoff.
— Freshman Nick Vattiato threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns, including a 59-yard scoring pass to Jarrin Pierce with 6:24 left, and Middle Tennessee beat Toledo 31-24 on Friday in the Bahamas Bowl.
— Dequan Finn threw four touchdown passes, Bryant Koback scored three times, and Toledo rolled over Akron 49-14 on Saturday.
— Bryant Koback ran for 203 yards and four touchdowns to lead Toledo to its sixth win, a 35-23 victory over Ohio on Tuesday night.
— Bryant Koback ran for two first-quarter touchdowns and Dequan Finn threw three TD passes and ran for two scores as Toledo rolled to a 49-17 victory over Bowling Green in Mid-American Conference play on Wednesday night.
— Ben Bryant threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns, Hassan Beydoun caught 12 passes for 192 yards and two scores, and Eastern Michigan beat Toledo 52-49 on Tuesday night.
— Dequan Finn's 34-yard touchdown pass to Danzel McKinley-Lewis ignited a 21-point burst over the final 8:08 of the third quarter and Toledo rallied for a 34-15 victory over Western Michigan in Mid-American Conference play on Saturday.
— John Richardson kicked five field goals, including a 29-yarder with 26 seconds remaining in the game, and Northern Illinois rallied last in a 22-20 victory over Toledo in Mid-American Conference play on Saturday.
— Bryant Koback rushed for two touchdowns and the Toledo defense set up three quick scores as the Rockets rolled to a 45-7 win over UMass on Saturday.
— Dequan Finn rushed for 106 yards, including a 70-yard burst on a draw play, and Toledo edged away from Ball State 22-12 in a Mid-America Conference opener for both teams on Saturday.
— Thomas Pannunzio returned a punt 70 yards for the game’s only touchdown and Cayden Camper kicked five field goals as Colorado State surprised Toledo 22-6 on Saturday.
