Court to rule if widow can sue over concussions

The Ohio Supreme Court will decide whether the widow of a former University of Notre Dame football player can sue the school and the NCAA over allegations her husband was disabled by concussions from his college career in the 1970s.

Harry Hiestand is returning to the NFL to coach the Chicago Bears' offensive line, according to multiple reports. Hiestand was on the coaching staff the last time the Bears went to the Super Bowl. He coached for the last six years at Notre Dame, where his offensive line produced to All-Americans and won the Joe Moore Award this past fall.

Notre Dame running back Josh Adams is headed to the NFL draft, he announced today on Instagram. Adams, who briefly entered the Heisman conversation this season, rushed for 1,430 yards and nine touchdowns. He had seven runs of 60 yards or longer. "I will always be connected to this great university," Adams wrote on Instagram. "I'll definitely be back to earn and receive my degree at Notre Dame."
