Shabazz Muhammad stays No. 1

There are few absolutes when dealing with recruiting and rankings. However, when it comes to the Class of 2012, there is one: Shabazz Muhammad (Las Vegas/Bishop Gorman) is the undisputed king of the class. The five-star wing entered the year at the top of the heap and still sits atop his perch on the rankings. His position is stronger than ever, and it's not hard to see why Arizona, Duke, Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA and UNLV, along with every other school in the nation, are fighting for his services.

Our staff hasn't touched the individual rankings since August, but it was time to grade out the top prospects and assign value to the information we've gathered since the summer.
