Stanford's recruiting isn't slowing down

This weekend, Stanford will host Oregon in the biggest Pac-12 matchup of the season. In fact, you can make an argument that this could be the biggest game the Cardinal have played in the modern era, with national title implications on the line. You have to go all the way back to the 1940 season, when No. 2 Stanford played No. 7 Nebraska in the Rose Bowl, to find a Cardinal game of this magnitude.

The matchup with Oregon is unique in many ways, and the contrast in styles between the two programs makes it even more intriguing. While USC will always be the team most people outside the West identify as the flagship program of the Pac-12, no one has won more games over the past three years than Stanford and Oregon.

The Cardinal rarely like to bring in too many official visitors during the season, but they'll take advantage of the big-game atmosphere and "College GameDay" being in the house to host several talented players, officially and unofficially.
