#BlueChipBattles -- Nov. 30

RecruitingNation has summoned its writers from around the country to compile a list of the top 10 battles for elite football recruits leading up to February's signing day. We'll update our rankings periodically to reflect a change in a player's status (i.e., new offers, trimmed-down list or a positive/negative official visit). Our writers have debated the list for weeks, but we value your input as well. Voice your opinion on Twitter (@RecruitingESPN) using #BlueChipBattles.

Here is this week's panel of writers: Kipp Adams (@KippLAdams), Radi Nabulsi (@RadiNabulsi), Blair Angulo (@bangulo), Sam Khan Jr. (@skhanjr), Greg Ostendorf (@GregO_ESPN), Chantel Jennings (@chanteljennings), Corey Dowlar (@cdowlar), Dave Hooker (@DaveHookerESPN) and Tom VanHaaren (@TomVH).

What's your top 10?

Below is our list, but we're also giving you a shot at ranking the top 10 recruiting battles.

Gareon Conley | @BlackSwarm_21

Massillon (Ohio) Washington | DB | 6-1/165 | ESPN Rank: No. 62

Last week's #BlueChipBattles rank: Unranked.

Commitment status: The nation's No. 9 CB decommitted from Michigan on Tuesday and has decided to re-open his recruitment.

Who's in the driver's seat: Ohio State.

Other candidates: Cincinnati and Michigan.

Dark horse: Michigan.

@TomVH's take: Conley decommitted from Michigan because he felt as though he committed too early and wants to take visits. He took an unofficial visit to Ohio State and is planning to be back on an official visit to Columbus as well. Oregon was in the picture, but it looks like the Ducks have their sights set on other prospects now. With Conley back on the market, it's likely that other programs enter the picture since 6-foot-1 corners don't grow on trees. Michigan told Conley they will still recruit him, but numbers might be an issue if Conley were to decide he wants back in Michigan's class.

RecruitingNation ranks Conley's recruitment as the No. 10 battle in the country. Tweet us your opinion using the hashtag #BlueChipBattles @RecruitingESPN.
