Midwest short on skill players

Cam Burrows is ready to earn the respect of his new teammates in Columbus. The Trotwood-Madison (Ohio) product is already enrolled at Ohio State and is eager to prove to a group coming off a 12-0 season that he belongs.

It's a familiar feeling for the four-star cornerback -- one he experienced earlier this month. Burrows was forced to do the same a week before he left for Ohio State. As one of only five skill players from the Midwest participating in the Under Armour All-America Game in Florida, Burrows was not just representing himself, but an entire region -- one battered by the belief the Midwest pales in comparison to the rest of the country in producing elite football talent at the skill positions.
