Coaches and recruits will tell you one game won't make a difference, but it's not uncommon for prospects to get caught up in the emotion of a big contest. The environment around a program can become a factor when it comes time to make a decision. Here's a guide to the most important college football games during the 2013 season from a recruiting standpoint:
Georgia at Clemson
Georgia and Clemson are recruiting rivals in the Southeast. While Clemson isn't a SEC program, it certainly recruits like one. The Tigers spend a lot of time and effort recruiting the Peach State, and the Dawgs spend just as much time defending it. It's not uncommon for a top prospect to have the Dawgs and Tigers in his top five and visit both schools.
Boise State at Washington
Everybody who is anybody in Pacific Northwest recruiting will be at this game. Washington will unveil a $250 million renovation to Husky Stadium, and it hopes a victory over a school it goes head-to-head against quite a bit will impress top targets in the 2014 and 2015 classes.
