DeVante Kincade picks Ole Miss

DALLAS -- Dallas Skyline quarterback DeVante Kincade (Dallas/Skyline) has heard all the negative chatter. Too short to be a college quarterback. Mentally unprepared to run a sophisticated offense. Can't excel on the BCS level. Doesn't take the game seriously.

On Friday, the 6-foot, 180-pound quarterback silenced his critics by committing to play in the SEC for Ole Miss.

"I feel great. All the pressure is gone," said Kincade, a three-star prospect who became the Rebels' 14th commit and their second quarterback commit of the 2013 recruiting class. "I've heard that I can't play in the SEC. I've heard that I can't play, period. I'm just happy about all this."
