TE commit proves he belongs

PRATTVILLE, Ala. -- O.J. Howard wants to be the best.

However, there are some high school football coaches across Alabama who believe Howard shouldn't even be considered a top-five player in his own state because he plays for Autauga Academy, an AISA school, which plays inferior competition.

"A lot of people say that my competition isn't that tough," Howard said. "I agree it's not as tough as the 6A schools around here, but it's still football to me."
