The unsung hero of Georgia's 2012 recruiting class is not the highest-rated commitment. In fact, the player serving as the glue holding this class together isn't even sure what position he will play in college.
Quayvon Hicks of Blackshear, Ga., currently lines up as a defensive end for the Pierce County Bears, where he is known as a devastating hitter.
"Against Windsor Forest they threw a middle screen, and I came in and cleaned him up," Hicks said. "The guy had a concussion. I ran through him. The ball went one way, his helmet went one way, and he went one way."
