ATHENS, Ga. -- Wide receiver Blake Tibbs (Lithonia, Ga./Martin Luther King) had one of the most productive senior seasons in the state, with 66 catches for 1,086 yards and 15 touchdowns, two rushes for 62 yards and a touchdown, and kickoff returns for touchdowns against Stephenson (82 yards) and Coffee County (99 yards). The Georgia Bulldogs commitment was here this weekend for his official visit during the team's senior gala, and he was able to see how his future team was rewarded for its success on the field as well.
"It was awesome," Tibbs said. "I loved how the team came together with the alumni at the gala."
Tibbs was hosted by fellow wideout Chris Conley, who made 16 catches for 288 yards and two touchdowns this year as a true freshman. Conley spoke to Tibbs about making the most of his opportunities when he arrived on campus.
