A chip off the old block

For defensive end Naim Mustafaa (Alpharetta, Ga./Alpharetta), football truly is a family affair. His father, Najee Mustafaa, was a defensive back at Georgia Tech and played safety in the NFL for seven years with Minnesota, Cleveland, and Oakland.

That was only the beginning of the family's predilection for football.

"I have a pretty big family," Mustafaa said. "I have two brothers, and they both play college football. My oldest brother Charles went to Kentucky, but he transferred to Jackson State because they wouldn't let him play baseball. My middle brother Amir is a freshman, starting at defensive end for West Georgia right now. My oldest brother is about 270 pounds and Amir is about 250."
