It's Lynch time

ATHENS, Ga. -- Throughout the winter, Arthur Lynch didn't hide his excitement over the start of Georgia's spring football practice from quarterback Aaron Murray.

"Artie just being my roommate, he won't shut up about it since January," Murray said. "He's been every night, 'I want spring to be here, I want spring to be here.' "

Lynch's enthusiasm stems from the knowledge that he will finally enjoy the opportunity to become the Bulldogs' starting tight end. Now he's working this spring to hold onto the top spot on the depth chart ahead of talented redshirt freshman Jay Rome and incoming freshman Ty Smith.
