This week's DawgNation Roundtable discussion looks ahead to the fall, since spring camp is rabidly fading from view. The Bulldogs defense returns 10 of 11 starters from the end of the season, while the offense needs more of an overhaul along the line. With that in mind, this week's question is:
Which new starter this fall could be an improvement from 2011?
Radi Nabulsi: If Richard Samuel takes over at fullback, that will be an improvement over Bruce Figgins and Alexander Ogletree. Not to make light of their contributions to the position last year, but Figgins was a converted tight end who never took a handoff, and Ogletree only got the ball twice. A combined two carries tells me the Georgia fullback was never a threat offensively, but rather just another much-needed blocker.
