ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The pressure is off. That's one of the biggest differences as Zak Irvin starts his junior season in high school.
While Irvin is looked at as one of the better players on his Hamilton (Ind.) Southeastern High School team, he doesn't need to worry about his college plans. He verbally committed to play for Michigan this summer as one of four members of the Wolverines' Class of 2013 -- and it has helped.
"I would say so a little bit," Irvin said last month. "I don't have all those coaches calling me and all those coaches coming to my game. I just know where I'm going to go."
