Michigan has been known for producing top-level offensive linemen year after year. From Jake Long and Steve Hutchinson to Jon Jansen and Dan Dierdorf, the list goes on. Since Long left the Wolverines after the 2007 season, Michigan fans have been looking for that next great lineman.
Tackle Taylor Lewan's name has come up, and by all accounts center David Molk had an outstanding career at Michigan, capping it by winning the Rimington Trophy and being named to several All-American teams.
However, there is excitement among fans regarding a new name, 2012 commitment Kyle Kalis. The 6-foot-5, 305-pound lineman has been dubbed as the next big, nasty offensive lineman for Michigan, despite the fact he hasn't even suited up yet.
