2012 class needs WR boost

The Michigan coaching staff has done an outstanding job so far filling holes with the 2012 recruiting class. One position group that remains unfilled, however, is wide receiver.

Michigan fans were somewhat confused in the 2011 class, when the coaches turned away California wide receiver Devin Lucien, who ended up signing with UCLA. The coaches felt the 2011 class wasn't in dire need of a receiver given the other positions they were targeting to fill out that class, but this recruiting cycle is starting to get urgent.

Since the coaches did not take a receiver for 2011, once the current recruiting class steps on campus the depth chart will have seven total receivers. Assuming there is no attrition, Darryl Stonum, Roy Roundtree, Terrence Robinson, Jeremy Gallon, Drew Dileo, Jeremy Jackson and Jerald Robinson are the remaining receivers.
