ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Defensive backs, and particularly safeties, will be a big part of Michigan's 2013 recruiting plans. The coaching staff has a head start with safety Dymonte Thomas (Alliance, Ohio/Marlington) already committed.
Thomas, a 6-foot, 175-pound defensive back, is on the ESPNU 150 Watch List and already holds offers from Michigan, UCLA, Notre Dame and Michigan State, among others. He will be one of the top prospects in Ohio and is a really big get for the Wolverines.
Outside of Thomas, though, Michigan will again look to the Midwest to help shore up the defensive backfield.
