The focus of the Michigan secondary and its mantra of "inside and in front" has helped make it one of the tougher defenses in the Big Ten. A big part of that has been bringing in the right players. With its 2014 class, the Wolverines hope to bring in a few more stud safeties to add to that group.

Like the linebacker position, the Michigan coaching staff has been able to be more picky with to whom and when they've let out offers for potential safeties.
