Heininger talks about injury

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The last play of his last practice in Ann Arbor before heading to the Allstate Sugar Bowl is when defensive lineman Will Heininger's career ended.

He had started every game of the regular season, and this would be how it would close, on a freak accident where another player fell on his leg as he planted, tearing the lisfranc ligament in his right foot and leading to dislocated bones in the foot, as well.

His season was over. So was his career. He had surgery to repair the ligament on Jan. 10.
