Air Force provides unique test

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- This week, Michigan has a chance to reassert itself.

Brady Hoke has spent his week doing a multitude of things, including seeing whether his players will bounce back and testing how much his players like football after Alabama thrashed the Wolverines last weekend, 41-14, in Arlington, Texas.

As the second-year Michigan coach said before the season opener, he wouldn't truly know about his team until he played a game. Now, more quickly than he probably would like, he will see the type of resolve this season's Wolverines have.
