Plays that meant the most in 2011

AUSTIN, Texas -- Mixed in with the quarterback controversy, the running back injuries and the five losses, there were a few glimmers of hope that there would indeed be a turnaround at Texas before too long.

Here is a look at some of the plays that could give those optimists out there something to chew on during the nine months without college football:

Harris at QB vs. Rice: Looking back now, maybe the play didn't hold that much significance in the result of the game. But John Harris's touchdown pass in the season opener against Rice was the first chance anyone had the opportunity to get a look at what new co-offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin could do for Texas.
